New Sea Glass Directory

This new addition to our site is for LISTING your sea glass business and for FINDING sea glass businesses (artists, shops, galleries, where to purchase or sell sea glass and related products).

Please read the sample letter. If you have a sea glass related business (for example, even if sea glass forms just a portion of your business) take advantage of this directory.

Follow the instructions closely. If there is something unclear or that could be made better, CONTACT US. We need your help to identify those issues and make them clearer or easier.

------ Sample letter follows -----

Hello!

We are pleased to announce the opening of our new worldwide sea glass directory at https://www.odysseyseaglass.com/sea-glass-directory.html

We want to invite you to be one of the first to submit information on your sea glass business so we can start promoting your business to our visitors. It's absolutely FREE!

There are other lots of other directories out there, but here's what makes ours unique:

1) It focuses in on sea glass related businesses only.

2) It's searchable so people can find you without having to click or scroll through a ton of categories.

3) You get a full web page that you can customize however you like - photos, graphics, etc, are encouraged. You and others will be able to "share" your page with Facebook and Twitter contacts - giving you a wide range of opportunities to get your business in front of those in your area - or around the world.

Note:

 - Add as much info as you want, even a photo or your logo!

 - If you don't yet have your own website, your listing will give you an    instant web presence on a highly trafficked, niche website.

 - If you're already online, your listing will act as a billboard directing people to your business.

3) Your clients can visit your listing and leave a comment or testimonial about their experience with you. This helps future visitors feel more confident contacting you because they know you already have satisfied customers.

As you probably know, OdysseySeaGlass.com has been around for awhile and is one of the most popular sites in the world about sea glass.

With over 1,000 visitors a day who are focused in on your favorite topic - sea glass - a listing in our directory will make sure potential customers can find you.

And since our directory is searchable, it's quick and easy to use.

Why are we providing this free service?

Quite simply, because we know that many of our visitors want to know about sea glass businesses in their local area; perhaps to buy sea glass, buy sea glass jewelry, have their sea glass made into art or crafts for gifts to others, or are looking for galleries or shops where they can sell their sea glass products.

This will make it easier for buyers and sellers to get together.

You can help us build this directory by letting other sea glass artists, galleries, gift stores, sea glass craft suppliers, and other sea-glass-related business owners know that they can get their own listing too.

After all, the more people who get involved in sea glass, the more it will become known as a fun and healthy hobby and the more ALL sea glass business and potential customers will benefit.

So go ahead, submit your free directory listing today, and feel free to forward this email to other sea glass businesses you may know of, so we can all help each other become even more successful.

Oh, and once your listing is live, be sure to tell your customers, students and fans to visit. They can leave comments and testimonials right on your directory page to help enhance your reputation and give potential clients confidence in your business.

Here is the link to submit your information and get your free, full page listing in our sea glass directory:

https://www.odysseyseaglass.com/sea-glass-directory.html

We wish you continued success and much fun with your sea glass related business!

Kind Regards,

David and Lin at OdysseySeaGlass.com

P.S. Remember to forward this information to other sea glass and related businesses so they can get their free listing too. The bigger the directory, the more people will come, and the more YOU will get found!

Winner of June 2011 Sea Glass Photo Contest!

This was an exciting contest. There were ten entries and all received several votes.

Two were tied for the top spot.

These were "Treasure Found" and "Sea Glass Spectrum."

So I brought in Lin to break the tie. She wasn't much help at first.

Lin said, "I like them both." Then she said, "(Treasure Found) is clearer."

She went back and forth but finally reached a decision.

Because of the beautiful clarity and natural setting of "Treasure Found," by Hugh Berenger of San Clemente, California, it squeezed into the winning spot.

Congratulations to Hugh and also to runner up Emily Ragle for her "Sea Glass Spectrum."

David and Lin Schneider from OdysseySeaGlass.com

That's not to say that the other entries were inferior...check them out and you'll see what we mean.

~~~~~~~
It is now a new month and already one photo has been entered for the new contest. Get yours in early, it may mean more votes!
