 Reviewing the submissions coming in, we can see that some of you having been enjoying the beach these past few weeks in all kinds of climes.
Weather here in the Northwest USA has been pretty cold. Plus really poor tide conditions - low tides almost as high as high tides during daylight hours. And this has been going on for awhile! Oh, well...

Sea Glass Photo Contest The winner of the December 2011 Sea Glass Digital Photo Contest is Kim of Oak Harbor, Washington. Congratulations Kim!
Amazingly, Kim found these pieces, including parts of two bottle stoppers, in one session at the beach!

Santa Cruz Sea Glass Festival 2011
Last newsletter we featured thE first place prize at the Santa Cruz Sea Glass Festival. However, all the top ten were really great!
The other nine places were share with an Honorable Mention title.
