There are some letters on the bottom. I can make out STLE.

Any one know what these initials on sea glass mean?

Any one know what these initials mean? May e type of piece this was from?

Any one know what these initials mean? May e type of piece this was from?

~ question submitted by Anonymous

Found in Albion CA.

Initials are some combination of A S H - decorative, on the edge of clear glass.

The ridge next to the decoration appears to be straight, as does the matching indentation on the bottom.

I don't think it's the edge of a plate.

Does anyone know or have an educated guess?

The patterned glass piece you posted is very similar to one I found in Santorini, Gr. Mine is approx. 3/4" x 1 1/4" x 1 3/4" . I do not know what either yours nor mine are or were.
I'll try to post mine.

Horse Shoe Beach Glass

This is a water glass bottom or just a drinking glass bottom.

Found one in San Francisco bay by San Rafael.

Mine is clear and now cut and polished for a pendant at some time.

This shard is olive green and has raised letters.

It was found in Harpswell, ME.

It's about 2inches by 1 inch and curved, not flat

Sea glass from Martha's Vineyard

Sea glass from Martha's Vineyard

~ sea glass identification question submitted by Kelli S, Martha's Vineyard, MA

Looks like the bottom of an old bottle.

I can sort of make out what looks like the letters "E" and "N" on the left side and then it looks like a space and then the letter "V".

I found this piece on Martha's Vineyard, MA
