Best adhesive for gluing seaglass to posterboard / paper stock

hi...

love your site...lots of great information. i'm starting a small project where i want to frame several pieces i created from seaglass (flowers) onto a matted frame. do you have any recc for the best type of paper stock (posterboard, backing board etc) & the best adhesive to use fo adhering the seaglass to the paper stock?

Best adhesive

Hi there. I recall that when I was growing up in Sugarloaf, New York, there was an artist, Jon Baugh, who created "paintings in glass"--he used shards of glass (not seaglass) and arranged them into beautiful designs and them adhered them to a very thick, textured board (not sure what this was) and framed the finished work in a deep, glass-fronted wooden frame. These works were beautiful and sold very well.

I'm not sure what kind of adhesive and board he used. However, I know that most craftspeople these days say that the absolute best adhesive for all craft/art projects is E6000, is available at chain craft stores such as Michael's, and is manufactured by Eclectic Products, Inc.

The company also makes an excellent adhesive called 527, which is a thinner consistency that E600 and has a smaller-tipped applicator.
