Best beach around NY/NJ?

Sea Glass near New York City?

Sea Glass near New York City?

Hi guys!

I've been in love with sea glass since I accidentally found a green bottle piece on accident on Huntington Beach California two years ago.

I've been searching ever since and have come up empty.

I'm in New York City working and have Sundays free to go to the beach.

Can you tell me what beach would give me the best chance to find something?

I see several listed on the beaches page, but I don't want to go to the wrong one or the wrong end and not get anything.

If anyone does have a suggestion, please be as specific as possible, I've never been here before and I get lost very easily. :)

I'd be willing to drive up to an hours around NYC.

I'll keep you posted on what I find.

Thanks so much!

- Erin :)
