Best way to illuminate seaglass

by K. and D. Johnson
(Exeter,NH)

Hello everyone. We are new to sea glass collecting and we find a lot of black glass.

What is a good way if illuminating a piece at home?

Some of our pieces are so dark that holding them up to the sun or up to a light bulb is just not enough. We need a light more concentrated.

Thanks

Illuminating Seaglass

You can make yourself a light table - like artists use.

I'm sure directions are on the internet, but just build a small wood frame, insert a lightbulb with switch on the side, and cover w/frosted plexiglass.

Place your pieces on the top.
