Blue Bliss May 2011 Photo Contest

WINNER of the Odyssey Sea Glass Photo Contest of 2011

This is a collection of sea glass that were found by a friend in England.

I enjoy taking photos of sea glass and count this as one of our family favorites.

A simple digital Canon PowerShot camera was used.

The challenge with most of my sea glass photos is trying to catch the right natural lighting.

I find that taking photos an hour or two before the sun sets is ideal.

"Blue Bliss" by Raymunda Fox of Monterey, California wins the May 2011 Sea Glass Photo Contest.

There were a number of excellent submissions this month, all of which deserve a look from everyone.

But "Blue Bliss" by far received the most votes. And I must say, the choice of sea glass, the clarity, and the lighting were excellent.
