Cat On the Bottom of a Broken Bottle

Hi, I found a broken bottle bottom, it is very thick glass, olive green and has a cat on the bottom! there are some letters, I think I can pick out a B and an E. Anyone have any ideas as to the origin?

Maybe it's a small "nip" bottle for cats...............................as in catnip?

PS have tried and tried to photograph it, but can't seem to get the cat to come out clearly on the photo
