~ sea glass beach report submitted by Laura in San Clemente, California
Name of Beach and Location:
Doheny Beach Doheny is my local beach for beach glass. the past 6 months have be excellent for glass, pottery, and a few gem quality stones. On average I spend about an hour to an 1-1/2 hours three days a week and I will find approximately 15 to 30 pieces. They range from Grade A to freshly broken, from up to 60+ years to last year. I have many melted pieces and multi-color fused pieces. Overall a great beach to find glass, pottery and many other treasures. So if you are in So Cal give it a try. And remember to give back to the beach. Please pick up trash as you go. The beach will love you for it and she just may give up more of those spectacular pieces.
