Have you heard that sea glass is becoming more scarce? It is true that some well-known overworked beaches now are showing less glass than before according to the locals. But overall? Not a chance...you just need to find a little-known beach!

Lin and I will be headed down under the equator within a few months where we will begin searching 1,800 miles of coastline in Peru for some of these perfect glass-hunter's beach paradises.

Seeing as how the coast of Peru was settled long before the West Coast of the United States and considering that we have no reports of any sea glass hunters in Peru...well, the possibilities are great for some fabulous treasures.

So what it boils down to in reality is that there is so much glass out there in the world that has not and probably never will be entirely found, that you have just got to get started finding it too!
