HangLoose wind chimes

by fergie
(Hilo, Hawaii)

Aloha fellow beach glass lovers.

I love making natural, very simple HangLoose wind chimes from driftwood, beach stones, and seaglass.

These wind chimes are made to be quieter then most.

I try to achieve a balance of the natural materials I use. This is hard to do because I always want to flood it with beach glass.

My first wind chime was full of beach glass and it was beautiful. . . but it was not simple. It took me a while and a lot of wind chimes before I realized that everything had to be in balance,,, The driftwood, the beach stones, the beach glass, the copper and the empty spaces between it all.

Now with a balanced Look, feel and sound I can finaly call them HangLoose wind chimes.

Much aloha, fergie

P.S.
I love collecting beach glass. The jewelry quality ones go to my daughter and I use the imperfect ones on the wind chimes. I like the imperfect ones better. . .
