Interesting shape...

I'm not sure if you have gotten other information on this piece, but it looks like what is called "bonfire glass" or sometimes just "fire glass."

Richard LaMotte's Sea Glass book explains it as literally having come from a fire...many just threw their "trash" into fires at the end of the evening I guess...!

I have found some pieces over the years her on the Jersey Shore, but especially after Sandy, I have collected quite a few.
