Island Beach State Park NJ

My daughter and I went beachcombing at Island Beach State Park.

This represents about 2 hours of scavengering.

I love the blue (laying on the large piece of white)....so much fun! ----------

Seaside Park, New Jersey

I've been there a few times and found a decent amount of pieces I could use for jewelry.

The only downside is I've never found any rare colors.

Just north of Island Beach State Park.

Found no rare colors...a waste of time...you need to pay to park there...very disappointed.

Island Beach State Park Low Tide for Sea Glass
by: Anonymous

I have been to this beach many times and if go at low tide you will find several pieces of sea glass.

What I have found is larger than what is found on many other beaches and well frosted.

It is mostly clear, green and brown but you will find a piece or two of less common colors.

I did find a large piece of cobalt that is very frosted and I have found several pieces of aquamarine.

The key is to go at low tide and walk for at least a couple of hours.

Happy hunting!
