On this web site, someone falsely put a beach on Lake Erie, in Michigan called Astral beach. The claim is that there is "boat loads" of beach glass.
This is FALSE!
It should be taken off this site. We drove there (3 hours) to find there is not even a beach on astral beach. It is a community, called Astral Village. There is a beach in a state park there, near Astral, in Monroe, but is is a big let down. 1 mile of nothingness except small muscles shells. The beach is covered in them. Just thought I would let you know...

Yes Estral Beach Village doesn't have a public access to the beach... other beaches do Sterling State Park Is Wonderful.. Get it right people!!

Sorry you had bad luck at this beach. I live an hour north of LaPorte and recently started looking for glass. Where do you regularly go? I have had a little luck at the Warren Dunes in Bridgeman Michigan but interested in finding new places. Happy hunting.
