Ontario Sea Glass Festival

When: August 5, 2011 at 6 p.m. to August 6, 2011 7 p.m.

Where: City Park, King St West, Kingston

This will be the first ever Sea Glass Festival in Ontario, Canada.

Kingston is the perfect spot to host the festival - it's where the St. Lawrence River converges with the Cataraqui River and Lake Ontario, arguably one of the best of the Great Lakes for finding sea, or rather, beach glass.

The festival will be open to the public one day only.

There will be several sea glass artists and vendors, sea glass appraisals, a shard of the festival contest and special kids only events.
