Orange sea glass with a pattern in it?

by AJ
(California)

I have a large piece of orange sea glass with a pattern in it.

I can't seem to find any information on the web about sea glass with a pattern or words in it. Does that make it more valuable than sea glass without anything on it?

Is "pattern" the wrong word to search for? Any help will be appreciated.

I am a newbie. Thank you.

Hi AJ,

I moved your submission into Questions, since that is more appropriate. If you include a photo of the piece, you are certain to get more comments! Orange is a real find!!

Pattern is the correct word. Orange glass with a pattern is almost sure to be "glassware" or non-bottle glass. For identifying it yourself, you might pick up a copy of a really good book, Collectible Glassware from the 40s, 50s, 60s
