Painted sea glass necklace

Painted sea glass necklace

I love decorative painting and have painted on everything from feathers to crab shells.

A few years ago I fell in love with sea glass and this past year tried my hand at making wire wrapped jewelry.

Then I saw a post from someone who painted on sea glass and decided to try my hand at that.

This week there was a question on the blog asking for advise on what kind of paint or sealer to use.

I answered that post but wasn't able to attach a picture of one of my finished pieces.

This site has given me so much inspiration and other sea glass enthusiasts have been so generous with sharing their finds and talents.

Hoping this piece will inspire others.

After seeing the kind of stones that were featured in this site, I did made a thorough search regarding the glass beaches around the locality where I live, but was very disappointed and heartbroken to know that there weren’t even a single beach.

Thank you
