I usually don't like the brown sea glass as much as the other colors, but when I combine it with turquoise as I did in this bracelet.... I LOVE it!

That's great, Victoria. You have found, as many others have, that the "common" colors of sea glass are also beautiful, especially when contrasted with another color.

"Beer bottle brown" when nicely frosted and rounded also looks sharp when placed between "white" or clear frosted sea glass.

If you have enough shades of brown, also, it is interesting to have several linked in a bracelet or necklace, going from light amber gradually down to a dark brown with all the variety in between.

I know Lin doesn't throw away ANY sea glass that is nicely rounded and frosted. In fact some of her favorite earrings are "plain" whites. She loves the way they look and how they go well with any other color.

Happy hunting,

David from Odyssey
