Sea Glass Expert Search

I'm writing a children's magazine article about sea glass and would like to know if there is an expert sea glass collector in the Southern/Central California area that I could interview by phone or email or in person.

I live in the Ventura CA area.

Also, some suggestions about how I could go about trying to find one. Thanks

Sea Glass "expert"

If I were you, I would contact Mary Beth Bueke, who is the president of the North American Sea Glass Association and owner of West Coast Sea Glass. She has been featured in many articles and travels all over the world "hunting" for sea glass.

She's a wonderful speaker and I would certainly call her an expert! She has scoured the Pacific Coast from the tip of the Baja Peninsula all the way up to Alaska. Amazing woman!
