I start this tree with a piece of lucite shaped like a Christmas tree, then I use clear, flat sea glass to create a flat glass back.I also overlap pieces along the edge to make it a little wider. On the front, I start with the pointed pieces along the edge and then start adding the other pointed pieces in layers. You need flat and pointed pieces and not all my pieces are good quality. I use E-6000 because other glue I have used usually turns yellow over time and especially if it is put in the sun.
Love your tree!!!! So many creative ideas here! Thanks everyone for inspiring me.
I am creating some projects (or at least would like to) with driftwood and Seaglass, and Seaglass on glass...need some really strong glue so that it lasts... Any suggestions? Thanks.

Hi Kelly, That is some great sea glass tree. Reminds me of the gem trees I used to sell a few years back. A beautiful example of what you can do with your collections. Thanks for sharing it with us. Regards, Marylyn(SuperNan)
