Uroboros Fused Glass / Metal Working Class with Ginger Kelly

Mix It Up-when color and sizzle collide

What happens when you’re color fearless and not afraid of heat? Meet Ginger Kelly. She is returning to Portland for two very special days where she will discuss, demonstrate and conduct a creative workshop exclusively using System 96 glass products at the Uroboros Factory!

When: October 17 and 18, 2009...9 am to 5 pm each day
Includes: glass sheets, rods, frit, noodles and stringer, lunches and snacks

Tools to bring: glass cutters, running pliers, notebook, ruler, your favorite hand tools, sketchbooks, ideas, camera, comfortable clothing (no sandals) and a smile

Be prepared for lots of color-filled fun as Ginger steps you through making fused glass components for jewelry, giftware and other artwork. Experience fusing and lamp working, finishing your samples with findings courtesy of Rio Grande. Learn her strategies to minimize studio time but increase your finished artwork inventories.

Who is Ginger Kelly?
Ginger Kelly is a glass artist, glass blower and international giftware designer. She moved her studio to Louisiana in 2005 and now lives in the small town of Breaux Bridge, two hours from New Orleans. Ginger has worked with System 96 Uroboros glass for many years and loves to teach.
