I brought back a bag of sea glass that I collected in St. Croix in Feb. When I got home the bag was pretty stinky so I filled up my sink with some soapy water and let is soak a while and then rinsed it real good. I did not scrub it as I like some on the dried salt/seaweed/ or whatever left on the bigger pieces. It did not change the look, it just smelled a lot better!

Washing Sea Glass by: Victoria
I wash my Sea Glass in Dawn dishwashing detergent. For the pieces I make into jewelry, I finish them in the ultrasonic cleaner.
