What is another name for a sea glass collector ?

My husband and I enjoy searching for SeaGlass in Surf City, NC. We're building a home now near the beach, and would like to 'name' it. What is another name for a seaglass collector? I've been searching the web for the 'official' name.

That's a good question...I would also like to hear some suggestions instead of "sea glass fan" or "beach comber" which are the terms I'm usually stuck with!!!

Glass Pipers....

This is a good one cause if you watch everyone collecting at the surf line, they run up to the water to look for glass and when the wave comes in they run up the beach to stay dry - looks jest like the sand pipers on the beach....

"Glassing"

My boyfriend calls it "going glassing" when we're headed out to the beach... and I call it seaglass hunting.

People who have never heard of it don't understand what you're doing unless you really spell it out for them. :-)
