Odyssey Newsletter - June Photo Winner! More...
July 07, 2012
Hi,

Lin_and_DavidWe hope you are all enjoying each day. Sometime we get so caught up in the rat race that we just don't take time to relax.

Therefore, the old saying, "Stop and smell the roses."

In your case, take some time to look at photos of sea glass, read some experiences; or, better yet, head to the beach for a few hours.

Browsing this brief newsletter, here's what you'll find:

And the Winner is! The June Sea Glass Photo Contest

We had seven submissions to the online digital photo contest, all of which garnered some votes.

However, the most popular photo with our viewers was...

"Foggy Finds" by by Dolores Elliott of Nova Scotia Canada.

Congratulations Dolores! You presented a nice assortment of shapes and colors on a natural background, getting by far the most votes of all.

Dolores will have her photo on OdysseySeaGlass's front page as well as other popular pages.

(Dolores and future winners - a reminder that you can request to have your photo linked to the web page of your choice - just Contact Us)

Now, if you have haven't had a chance to see all the June sea glass photos, check them out by clicking on their titles below.

EBook on Sea Glass?

Lin and I plan to write several eBooks on sea glass. Each one will address a certain area of importance to collectors.

We are at the first step right now and that is:

1 - Finding out what our readers want.

We defiitely need your help on this.

What would you like to see in an ebook on sea glass?

Please let us know what you feel is the most important thing you would like to know in an ebook.

So contact Lin and David with your suggestions ASAP. The sooner we know what you want, the quicker we can get started on it.

Thanks!

Coming Soon

In our last "regular" newsletter, we ran an article titled, "Garbage on Beach - Ouch!"

Lin and I have taken more photos over the past 2 weeks and are trying to keep a kind of record of what happens to trash on a beach as time goes by.

We'll post some photos in a future newsletter as well as talk about what is happening with dumped trash, mainly glass, as more and more people search the beaches.

Stay tuned!

So, as always,

Happy hunting to all!

David and Lin Schneider
