Name of Beach and Location: Zuma Beach, Southern Cal

I was with my family driving down the Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) and my mother wanted to stop at a beach to put her feet in the Pacific Ocean.

We got to the water and I always like to look around to see what kind of shells wash up on to the beach.

I walk about 5ft and I see a pale translucent blue piece of sea glass.

I was so excited when I found it!

My girlfriend and I treated it like a child the rest of the day.

Zuma Beach Sea Glass
by: Anonymous

I just returned from a week at Leo Carrillo and Zuma Beach. Im what my kids call a "hardcore" beach comber! I found a ton of sea glass.

I get in that zone and can find even the smallest of pieces, I love it!

This last week I came home with 100's of pieces including, sapphire blue, green, lime green, light blues and a few aqua, ambers and browns, clear and the one that got my heart pumping a lone piece of red!
