Fake Sea Glass Method?

Fake Sea Glass Method?

Scott's Question:

What kind of acid is used to make fake sea glass?

Is it safe for the environment?

Our Answer:

I don't know what is used for fake sea glass. Ask at the hardware store what to use for etching glass.

Most acid is pretty hard on the environment but then the little you would use is nothing compared to the huge industrial plants.

Be very careful when handling it or breathing fumes.
