Simmons Island in Kenosha WI

Simmons Island in downtown Kenosha Wisconsin

June 2012

From the boat channel to the top of this beach, a nice variety of sea glass can be found.

We've been there twice in the part week.

Colors found (ranked, starting with the most popular): clear, amber, green, light blue, cobalt.

We also found pink and various degrees of dark green.

Sizes found range from small (size of an eraser) to half dollar. Most pieces are about the size of a dime or nickel.

The tide when we were there was on the smaller side and it was in the 80's.

My wife and I were finding approximately 2-3 pieces a minute and came home with about 200 pieces in our two visits.
