manhattan bch has lettel glass due to the beach with no rocks to keep it there.same with hermosa bch and el segundo. best beach in the south bay is redondo.good fo sea glass after any storm. trust me john the beachcomber.johnmasters1oo@yahoo.com

California sandy beaches glass

You have to go when the tide is very low and then look right along where the edge. You might have to go into the water to find pieces. This is the only way I have been able to find glass on beaches like Manhattan Beach in California.

Hermosa Beach, CA sea glass

My son and I found several small pices of sea glass just south of 22nd St in Hermosa Beach on June 6, 2011.

There were many pockets of thousands of tiny shells, pebbles and debris collections washed up along the high tide line.

Many of those contained one or two pieces of sea glass, mostly greens and browns.

We did find one small cobalt blue piece.

We found about 8 small pieces in 30 minutes over a 2 block stretch of the tide line.
