Info on this beach area:

Rye Beach, New Hampshire is a community just south of the town of Rye, home town of Dan Brown, author of The Da Vinci Code (claim to fame LOL).

On the stretch of the Atlantic coast of New Hampshire, this beach gets plenty of wave action. Just to the north is Jenness Beach State Park and to the south is Little Boar's Head.

A nice choice for summer or fall vacations, the Rye Beach area offers interesting opportunities for collecting sea glass as well as enjoying the beautiful scenery and other attractions of the area.

One of the attractions you'll see in Rye Beach is The Ocean House, a hotel built in 1844 and expanded over the years.

There is a nice selection of hotels in the Rye, New Hampshire area.
