St. Petersburg, Plum Island sea glass?

Name of Beach and Comments: have lived in st.petersburg fl for 12 years and am an avid beachcomber and have never found any sea glass on St.Pete beach, summer in R.I. and Ma. and have to say never found any sea glass on Plum Island, both were listed as sites with sea glass. Big disappointment but Plum Island has great driftwood.
