Square Lavendar Beach Glass
I found this piece(and several others) off the shores of Lubec, Maine and feel like this one could have the most interesting story.
What was this?
Thanks!

That's a very interesting piece. A distinctive shape like this generally can eventually be traced to the original.
At first I thought it was a candle holder split in two but on closer look, that does not appear possible.
As far as the color, this piece likely was originally clear glass but reaction to the sun's ultraviolet rays has cause the change to a beautiful violet or lavendar tint.
Hopefully one of our clever viewers (that's you) will recognize this distinctive shape.
