Where was this photo taken?

Chesapeake Bay, Eastern Shore of Virginia

What were your feelings or impressions when taking this photo of sea glass?

I love to go out hunting with my 3 little boys and our pup.

Even if we don't turn up anything, it's always a day well spent.

This particular day was an especially good one!

What kind of camera and/or lens did you use?

This was taken with my cell phone, a Galaxy S5.

What tips do you have for taking good photos of sea glass?

Try out different angles, and good lighting makes all the difference in the world!

Hi Em!
by: Laura

Occasionally glass will turn up way up north on the Assateague Beach, but I have my most luck over on the Chesapeake Bay side.

Cape Charles and Savage Neck are always pretty good this time of year! Also, kayaking.

Hope you get down our way again soon!

Best,
Laura

I Love Chincoteague
by: Em

Chincoteague VA is one of my favorite places on the Eastern Shore.

Unfortunately, I have never personally, found any seaglass there. I may not have found the right area on our short trip there.

Fortunately I have a connection to someone who lives there and like you, has great luck while on walks with her dog. She has been kind enough to give me some great pieces.

Thank you for sharing your "finds".
