Onslow Beach Camp Lejeune NC

I have walked the beaches of NC for over 20 years. The best glass finds are on Onslow beach. I have found small pottery pieces, and have over a gallon of various colors of beach glass. My best finds, which are rare, are two pieces of red glass and several cobalt pieces.My most exciting find was beach glass while in Kuwait in the Middle East, staying on the Indian Ocean.

Me and my family are planning a trip to North Carolina and I would very much like to go and visit Onslow Beach, though I heard you have to make a reservation for the beach ten weeks in advance, and we're leaving in less than 10 days.

Is the beach at all open to public??

I love to walk on Onslow Beach.

I have alot of wonderful memories there.And have sea glass that I keep in my memory jar.

Also shells etc.from my trip there.

Can't wait to go back next year.
