Where was this photo taken?

My photo was taken at a friends home after a warm morning of hunting for sea glass.

What were your feelings or impressions when taking this photo?

I am so fortunate to live by a small area of coastline in Texas that is abundant in sea glass. After a treasure hunt, I like to play with my glass by introducing different sources of light.

What kind of camera and/or lens did you use?

This particular photo was taken in the evening. I placed some pieces in a clear glass jar and sat the jar on a fairly bright light.

I snapped a few photos with my Galaxy 3 Smartphone camera and was blown away by how awesome they turned out.

What tips do you have for taking good photos of sea glass?

I really had fun playing with these particular pieces.

I would suggest to other photographers to play with many light sources, key word being play.
