Hi I tried to send you info to your email address and it didn't work.

Staying at the Rydges North off of McLaren St. for 3 days. Then Mantra Ettalong Beach for 3 Days.

Any help you can give my sister and I would be appreciated. You have found some Great pieces.

How are the low tides at this time of year? We will be arriving from New Zealand on the 27th of February.

Thanks in advance for any help you can give us.

Cindy

Your trip

Hi Cindy, I just wanted to know where you are staying to recommend sea glass spots nearby. North Sydney is a good choice. From there the closest sea glass hunting location would be Manly.

There are a few spots there to check out. Perhaps you could stay in Manly for a few nights if you have time.

There are lovely beaches and beautiful walks and you can be first on the beach for sea glass!

If you want to email me at slinkycat9 at yahoo.com.au I can give you more info.

Regards

Susan

Hi my sister and I will be in Sydney in late February we would love to stroll the beaches looking for sea glass.

Would you be so kind as to share the best beaches to go to. Would appreciate any help.

We will also be in Wellington NZ if any recommendations in that location as well would be fabulous.

Thanks

Sea Glass Sydney Australia

Revised - we had previously commented that Sydney was landlocked - obviously a mistake.

For some reason I had Sydney Harbor in mind, so apologize for the mistake.

A surfer for most of my life, I had always been aware of the many excellent surf spots on Sydney's shores so all I can say is - senior moment there.

Thanks for the report showing LOADS of sea glass!

Happy hunting!

David

Sydney's beaches

The comments made on my post (about Sydney being landlocked) are not correct. Sydney is located right on the ocean and has 100 kilometres (60 miles) of coastline and dozens of surfing beaches.
