Glass Beach, Port Allen, Kauai, Hawaii, early December 2017.

Sunny day, lots of tourists, these pieces only found by digging and turning significant size rocks over.

Beach is seriously picked over. Several snorkelers looked like they they were having better luck so take your gear.

The bottle stopper I found by watching the surf off to the right side of the beach and running into the water and grabbing it between waves. Take your sand shoes.

All other pieces we kept had broken of sharp edges and some had stains.

I wet the glass for the photo which makes the them look better than they are.

We left the poorest pieces behind for others.

We also looked at many other beaches on the island and found no glass.
