Large beach glass from Nova Scotia - Any ideas?

by Tonika
(Nova Scotia, Canada )

Found this chunk in Nova Scotia, Canada. It’s thick and heavy and the two sides are held together by some sort of caulking.

I’d love to know where it’s from if anyone has any guesses :)

I found Some like this in Ohio!!
by: Julia

I do not know where this has come from but I have two chunks of the same colors with the caulking as well! Found on two different beaches on the shores of lake Erie. The first piece was discovered on a remote private area in Conneaut, Ohio. This location, however, has been completely washed away this year sadly. There is no longer a path to the beach. The beach has been completely taken by the lake this year. There is now a 40 foot drop off where the beach was. I found a ton of really cool colored slag glass there too. The second smaller piece was found on a public beach, Lake Shore Park, in Ashtabula, Ohio just this past summer after the huge storms. If you do discover where these have came from, please enlighten me!
