Moonstone Beach, Rhode Island

Reported from Moonstone Beach near Charlestown, RI

We found 25+ pieces all round & smooth, frosted ranging in colors from soft blue, soft green, lime, white & emerald.

I would rate this as a "good" beach due to the thousands of large rocks and a long stretch of beach.

Check tide tables before you go.

Highly recommended!

Moonstone Seaglass

It does exist!! I spent the fall of 2017 walking that beautiful coastline and combing through the rocks (which I brought lots home with me to polish). Along the tons of rocks there are quite a few good pieces of glass. It definitely takes a good eye and a low tide but the seaglass is there. I can't wait to go back. I definitely left a piece of my heart on that beach.

I have gone twice to this beach to comb, once in Sept 2018, and last week, I did not find any glass either times. There are many other interesting rocks, crystals and sea worn bricks though.
