White sea glass with letters

I found this piece of white sea glass on a beach in Gloucester, Ma. It is about 1 1/2 inches long, about an inch high, and 1/4 inch thick.

There is a diamond shape (embossed) on the top, and the letters (also embossed) IQUOR and the letter B after that.

Just curious what bottle it may have come from.

Identify a piece of sea glass
by: David

Hi Pamela,

Thank you for your submission. Since your piece does have part of the work LIQUOR on it along the diamond shape, someone might recognize it.

For definitive work on liquor bottle identification, visit the site https://sha.org/bottle/liquor.htm.

Also, scrolling through these bottle bottom photos on Google might turn something up: Google Search Photos of Bottle Bottoms
