Bottle Topper

Bottle Topper

My "Happy Place" is walking the beach, any beach! This love of treasure hunting began as a young child with my mom.

Actually, on this date, it was my husbands birthday, a beautiful start of fall kind of day, we hopped on the wave runner & visited some of our favorite beaches.

Living on Sandusky Bay, awards us the opportunity to enjoy several islands & harbors - each, if you look, has small & larger beaches. So, bag in hand, I walk on the edge of the cool waters, then, poof, there the bottle stopper was!

I stopped, literally just bent over, staring at the treasure. Not sure how much time past before the thought appeared saying "Goofy girl, pick it up", so with a giggle of excitement, I gently reached down.

Never have I found a bottle topper and yes, it is now with some of my favorite treasures.

So today, on this wonderful site, I submit it and welcome your comments.

I also came home with 2 large, ziplock bags of beach glass, 17 lucky stones & a smile in my heart...a day full of "Happy".

Lucky Stones - I will submit a separate post to explain these.
