Ceramic Cat Beach Find?

Ceramic Cat???

Ceramic Cat???

What is this beach find? Definitely man-made!

It looks like it may be ceramic.

In the crook of the "V" there is a small spot that is still shiny.

There is a very round hole into it at the bottom.

It looks to me like it may have been a cat?? (or am I just seeing things?)

About 1.5" long. Found at North Beach, Port Townsend, WA. Any ideas?

I think you may be right! I looked them up, and they do seem similar.

I could be totally wrong - just a guess!

how big is this piece? depending on the size, it almost looks like it could be one of those little figurines that came in boxes of tea (red rose??), maybe a ferret or a little otter?
