Clear glass with part of a logo/word on it from England

by Shanie
(England)

Can't remember exactly where it was found now, I think it was Cornwall, England, but could also have been from the East coast of the UK.

It has cursive letters which seem to be 'Alil' or similar, which are topped by a line. Weirdly the glass seems very flat, in fact the opposite side to the word appears to be slightly convex but the front seems very flat.
Any help you to determine what this might be would be amazing.
