What is this

by Louise
(Whitburn UK)

Found this on my local beach Whitburn UK.

It is not like any other glass I have found. It looks faceted deliberately and not worn down but was on the tide line

Maybe it's not even glass can anyone help

deck prism?
by: julie west

Could it possibly be a deck prism from an old ship? They used them to illuminate the below deck. I bought a repro for my Dad one year and it looked similar and the same color

Could it be?
by: Carol

So pretty! How heavy is it? Could it be a piece of coke bottle? Mason jar? Insulator? Car windshield? What a beautiful find! A real gem!
