What kind of piece was this?

by Crystal
(Cleveland Oh)

This well worn, frosty amber piece was found on Whiskey Island in Cleveland, on the shore of Lake Erie.

The horizontal lines are very unique and the piece is quite thick.

Any idea what this might be? A bottle?

Interesting amber glass
by: David

It reminds me of a vase type of pattern and shape but I can't be sure. Perhaps someone has seen or owned similar glassware and can make a positive identification. Very good find!
