Blue & White Transferware Dishes

Where was this photo taken?

Kitsilano Beach, Vancouver, BC Canada

Date, time of day, and weather conditions?

Various days, mostly during the winter months.  Cold and windy at low tide.

What were your feelings or impressions when taking this photo?

I felt very connected to history.  Most of these were made in England.

I have a set of Liberty Blue, blue & white transferware dishes, so already love this type of china.

I enjoy going to a book and finding out the names and makers of the dishes these pieces came from.

What tips or suggestions do you have for other photographers?

Enjoying finding and filming!

Blue Willow / Italian Blue China
by: Mary

I have found some of these china pieces at the Jersey Shore and have researched it to find out that it is Italian Blue China and Blue Willow which I believe is from the many ship wrecks off the Barnegat Inlet because I found it off the Seaside Heights beach.....
