Where was this photo taken?

~ Hampton Beach, New Hampshire, USA

Date, time of day, and weather conditions?

~ This photo was taken early morning, the day after the 'Super Moon', on a beautiful, sunny day.

What were your feelings or impressions when taking this photo?

~ Aggravated at first that someone had not only an illegal bonfire on the beach, but had left it strewn with trash.

Shortly after picking up a piece of driftwood nearby, I began to move the wood around in the sand, making sure that all of the ambers were put out.

Then, low and behold, there was a sparkly, sandy piece of green glass.

I was amazed when I picked it up, only to find a piece of green bottle neck bonfire glass!

What kind of camera and/or lens did you use?

~ I used a Nikon, without a lens.

What tips or suggestions do you have for other photographers?

~ Don't be afraid to move around things found on the beach, especially seaweed. You never know what you'll find under neath, and/or around it!
