We personally collect and sell seaglass from around the coastline of Scotland and the world famous Seaham seaglass beach in North East England.
Here at Chasing Rainbows Seaglass we specialise in Seaham multis but we have so much more to offer. From embossed and lettered glass, bases (I just love to try and identify makers marks), lips and necks, nicely frosted white and coloured glass from Seaham and beyond. We always have a selection of items suitable for making wired pendants. I have the ability to drill the glass to your requirements at a small extra charge should you wish.
Hello there, my name is Richard and along with my fiancée Jacqui and our Shih Tzu Bella, we spend many hours searching our local beaches for seaglass here on the North Sea coast of Scotland. We travel to Seaham in England at least twice a month to collect more stock so we can keep up with demand.
I became interested in seaglass after I had a mild stroke in 2013, walking the beaches taking photographs was my therapy to recovery. As I did so, I started to notice glass on the beach, picked some up and from there I was hooked! We have our favourite beaches around our home city of Dundee and the coast of nearby Fife. We were drawn further afield by the lure of Seaham seaglass and now we make the eight hour round trip at least fortnightly.
We are an approved seller (from an exclusive list of 100-150 sellers) on several Facebook seaglass auction sites, where we successfully sell to buyers from all over the world via Paypal. We ship in bubble bags with standard international delivery with The Royal Mail. Shipping costs are kept to a minimum and delivery takes between seven to ten days from the UK to the US.
We're always open, unless we're asleep of course. Please bear in mind we are UK based and therefore we are five hours ahead of New York time. We will answer all enquiries promptly and do our level best to source the colours and sizes you need from our current stock. Alternatively, let us know your specifications and we will contact you when we locate them, using our extensive knowledge of the beaches and the seaglass they provide.
