Gloucester VA, Rappahannock River

by Kate
(Charlottesville, VA, USA)

Explored an old abandoned farm near Gloucester county, VA. Explored along the whole coast line during low tide and could walk about 20 feet out which wasn’t accessible during the summer when my boyfriend and I explored!

Found a Huge dump site all along the coast with Thousands of pieces off glass and pottery and Full liquor and noxema jars and also plenty of tiny medicine bottles!

A lot of the glass wasn’t super frosted and a lot were sharp shards but I’m still in shock by the amount of unbroken full bottles washed ashore! Ended up finding a bunch of shards of transferware that is black and white and all are apart of the same plate!
