Grant Park Beach, South Milwaukee, WI.

We spent several hours sitting on the beach enjoying the lovely weather (7/19/2018).

Of course, one couldn't just sit; there is always beach glass and fossils waiting to be found!

I spent an hour or so wandering back and forth on a small section of the beach and find some nice pieces.

Mostly smalls pieces; I only keep the chunky mostly well frosted glass. As you can see from the photo, it was a good day for mostly small pieces and a few blue ones, rare colors in my experience.

Lately, this beach has NOT provided the typical quantity I have found in the past, but that may be related me being more picky about the pieces I keep.

I would be careful at high tide and after rainy days. The bluff above the beach has collapsed recently; I wouldn't want to be on the beach when that bluff goes!!!

If you wear water shoes you should be able to walk along the entire beach; however, except at this point (bluff collapse) you will have to traverse off the beach to get beyond this area.

After your hard work, stop and have a treat at Ferch's!

Enjoy!
