how old is 1) Frosted 2) Dark 3) Black seaglass

I have a few questions I hope you can help me with.

1) How old is frosted seaglass? (So the colour is visible but it has a frosted appearance.)

2) How old is dark seaglass? (ie the the type of glass if you shine a light under it it appears green, amber, blue etc)

3) How old is Black seaglass? and can you shine a light through this? (I have numerous pieces that are definitely glass but you can't shine a light through them at all).

Thanks for your help

Geoff

Thank you for your good questions.

There is no way to identify the age of sea glass. If it is well-frosted it is likely more than 10 years old but even that is just a guess.

The dark and black glass has been around for centuries and is still being made.

Without some other clearly identifying marks, age is anybody's guess.
